Description

The 204SM features a rich vibrant sound with excellent tonal projection. Yamaha R&D conducted extensive field tests with leading bands, and has redesigned the bracing for a more open ‘free-blowing’ feel. The overall balance has also been changed making it more comfortable to hold and play, while the slide configuration has been reworked improving both intonation and tone qualities.
Impeccable intonation and a rich tone make this mellophone the preferred choice of such groups as the DCI World Champion Cadets Drum & Bugle Corps.
